Sacral Exercise 1
A deeper connection to your sacral chakra will help you develop your consciousness by being aware of all of your chakras. It will help strengthen the energy of this chakra that can enhance your life with vitality and pleasure. Feeling the energy of your sacral chakra will help you partake of the sweetness of this world.
Choose a tranquil spot to do this meditation where you will not be distracted for about fifteen minutes. You can sit down or find a comfy spot to lie down. If you drift off to sleep during this meditation, it is okay. This will only happen if you are very sleepy or if your body wants to go deeper with the healing and clearing you are experiencing and it wants to get your conscious mind out of the mix for a few minutes.
Relax and feel the interface of your skin with your clothing and the chair or couch beneath you. Notice any air on your bare skin. Does it feel cool, warm, and comforting? Now start to bring your attention to the air you are breathing in and out. Notice it as it moves through your mouth and windpipe. Does it feel cool, and breezy? Continue watching your breath. Sink deeper into the sound of its movement. With each breath, let your muscles relax more and feel your body sink into the chair or couch. Let each exhalation release more and more tension.
Now, envision a gorgeous, bright, vibrant orange. Picture this made of particles or rays of light, your choice. Watch this orange radiate on the screen of your inner sight. Focus on the colour and let yourself be drawn into it. Merge with it by focusing your attention on it. Next, place your hands on your lower abdomen. Feel your hands connect with your sacral chakra as you continue to envision the gorgeous orange colour of that chakra. Feel the orange energy pulsing beneath your hands in the chakra.
Next, repeat the seed mantra associated with the sacral chakra aloud, "Vam.” As you say the word, feel your hands connect with the moving energy of the chakra beneath your skin. Repeat "Vam," and continue to be drawn into your awareness of your sacral chakra. Repeat the mantra for as long as you'd like.
You can do this mediation as frequently as you would like to strengthen this chakra. When you feel it is complete this time, bring your awareness back into the room. Focus on each sense and notice your surroundings. What do you see? Smell? Hear? Taste? Rub your arms and legs briskly and notice what you are feeling kinetic. Be certain you feel fully present to yourself before returning to your day. Drink plenty of water to help integrate the energies you gathered.
